Carol McCann Photography was started in October 2003. I have done hundreds of weddings since that time. My first wedding was a favor for a friend. I fell in love with photography that day and decide to start my own business. I took private lessons from two professional photographers. Classes on photo shop from Cord Camera. I set up and created my own website. I fill it with a large amount of different galleries of portraits so that you see my work.
Taking photos is what I love to do. I feel that it shows in my work. Looking for just the right shot in the moment. I usually take double the amount of photos in your package, pick out the best photos for you photography package. I enjoy spending time cropping and creating in my photo shop. From cropping to creating black & white, sepia, montages and other special effects, it is just as much fun to me as taking the photos.
Wedding are my specialty. From 2 people to 200 people I do it all from indoor church weddings or outdoor weddings and receptions. I do wedding outside all year long. Traveling all over the State of Ohio photographing large and grand weddings. I try to capture every moment in time of your special day. Taking photos of all your guests. In my photography I capture formal photos to casual shots of you and your wedding guests. If you have a shot that you would like to have done just let me know.
Or have an intimate wedding or elopements at Hocking Hills State Parks at the Upper Falls Old Man's Cave, Ash Cave State Park or in the privacy of your cabin. As a free service I am able to arrange a Minister for your wedding. Wedding links will give you a list of wedding locations, caters, florist, cake and DJ.
An addition to wedding I do Senior Portraits, Family Portraits, Children Portraits, Baby Portraits, Personal Photgraphy, Engagement Portraits, and pets to my business. I live in the beautiful Hocking Hills on 36 acres with 20 outdoor sites and indoor studio. I have woods, barn, a tree cover lane, rear meadow surround by trees see Senior and Family Portrait Gallery. Making you feel relax and enjoy having your photo taken is what I do. I am very good with children and special needs children.
Because I run my business from my home, I am able to keep over head down. I pass on to you a saving in comparison to other professional photographer. I do very little paid advertising. I am a member of the Hocking County Tourism Association. I have a booth at the Hocking County Fair every year. I support the local school on the Logan Chieftain Discount Card. I give copyrights with all my photography packages. This gives you the rights to have as many portrait printed as you wish. You are able to give your photos as gifts or to have them printed later in the future.
I use a SLR Cannon EOS 50D Camera with a 18-200 stabilizing lens with a Canon Speedlite 580EX11 on a photographer frame. This a a 12 pixel camera and will easily print a poster size of 20X30. I have two other cannon cameras and speedlites for backup cameras.
